It’s all change for the club over the summer as it now needs to recruit new managers and coaches for all its Welsh League teams.
The club would like to place on record its gratitude and appreciation to the following managers who have all stood down from their respective positions at the end of the 2017/18 season:
- Lee Williams who has made an excellent contribution to the club over the past eighteen months. Lee managed the Welsh League team during the 2017/18 season and gave Welsh League debuts to seven Youth team players. The club would also like to thank Lee’s coaching team of Leighton Price and James Joseph, who have also stepped down from their respective roles. The club wishes Lee, Leighton and James the best of luck for their future plans.
- Steve Jenkins who has managed the Welsh league reserve squad over the past two years and can reflect on a cup win and a top four finish.
- Howard John (and his coaches Andy Stevenson and Mike Warren) who managed the Welsh Youth league side last season. This management team have had success over a number of years with a talented group of youngsters, including a league and cup double in the 2016/17 season, when the under 16 team were crowned South Wales Intermediate Cup winners.
Many many thanks to you all for all your hard work, you will always be friends of the football club and are welcome to the Welfare Ground on match day at any time. The club are now recruiting a new Welsh League Manager, details of which will appear on the Welsh Football League website in due course – http://wfleague.co.uk
