Festival Date Ser for September
AFC Llwydcoed’s annual football festival now has a new date after the original arrangements had to be postponed. The new festival will take place on Saturday 1st September at the Welfare Ground. Contact us for more information and for those teams who had previously entered the original date

Stephen Price

AFC Llwydcoed are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of the well known Stephen Price from the Club.
Known by many as Priley he worked hard for the Club especially on matchdays making sure that home and away teams and supporters were kept fed and watered. He was well respected by all who knew him and will be sadly missed. The thoughts of all at the Club are with his family and friends at this sad time. THE FUNERAL WILL TAKE PLACE AT LLWYDCOED CREMATORUM ON 11 JUNE AT 1.30PM. EVERYBODY IS THEN WELCOME BACK AT THE RED COW IN LLWYDCOED AFTER.

We are Showing the FA Cup Final
We will be showing the FA Cup final on Saturday 19th May in the Community Centre.

The Chelsea vs Manchester United final at Wembley will be shown on TV in the Centre after our first teams home game against Llantwit Major.
Weekend Round Up 3rd February
The weekend saw two great results for our adult teams while there was some mixed results for the junior teams.

AFC Llwydcoed Nathaniel Car Sales Welsh League Division Two Team won their game 4-0 at home to Croesyceiliog thanks to two goals from Jonathan Mason and one each by Adam Butler and Liam Price. The Welsh League Development Team travelled to league leaders Swansea University and gained a brilliant draw 2-2 with Cian Cable and Robert Evans on target. In the junior section the ARJFL U/12’s Blue Team lost their game 7-1 against Mountain Ash Juniors with Jamie Harris the scorer while the Red Team won their match against Tonyrefail BGC 3-1 thanks to a brace from Max Parry and one from Tom Evans. The U/14’s welcomed Treorchy to the Ynys and won 7-0 as Owen Jones hit a hat-trick, Lewis Gillard scored twice and Same Hayes and Alex Rapchev got one apiece
Six Nation To Be Shown at Club
With the Six Nations fast approaching we will be showing the games at the Community Centre.
The normal refreshments will be on offer so make your way to the Welfare Ground Community Centre to watch all the action.
Weekend Round Up 28th January
Unfortunately this weekend it was the weather who was the only winner for adult football for Coed.

AFC Llwydcoed Nathaniel Car Sales Welsh League Division Two Team and Reserve West Division Development Team both fell foul to the weather again. The first team still have sixteen games to play up to May 12tth with only fifteen Saturdays remaining.
